Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! We wanted to inform you that we are currently pausing our volunteer applications until the new year. We truly appreciate your enthusiasm and support and will be reopening applications in January.
Please keep an eye out for updates, especially for the 2025 Legislative Session! We look forward to welcoming new volunteers soon!
Volunteer Roles
Patient Driver
Our driver volunteers provide transportation support for patients coming to New Mexico for abortion access, and our home hospitality volunteers provide safe and comfortable lodging. All volunteers who interact with patients are both thoroughly vetted and trained.
Please note home hospitality volunteer opportunities are currently on hold
Advocacy Volunteer
Advocacy volunteers are on the frontline and behind the scenes working to keep abortion legal and accessible here in NM. They phonebank, make buttons, write postcards, and do other activities to advocate for people and causes all across New Mexico. Volunteers can support advocacy in person or virtually, and we can assist with internet/technology access for folks volunteering from home.
Legal Observer
Legal observers are specially trained to monitor abortion provider clinics for activities that violate the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE).
Clergy for Choice
Clergy volunteers may serve in a number of capacities, including as spokespeople, policy advocates, client counselors, and community educators.
